BMS Project Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced BMS Project Manager to oversee and manage Building Management System projects across London and the Home Counties. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in BMS, particularly with Trend and/or Distech systems, along with excellent project management skills. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of BMS projects from inception to completion.
• Coordinate project teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and smooth workflow.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to maintain strong working relationships.
• Provide technical expertise in Trend and/or Distech BMS systems, with knowledge of Tridium as an advantage.
• Oversee commissioning, servicing, and handover of completed projects.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project delivery.
• Ensure projects adhere to health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
• Recommend system upgrades and enhancements for improved efficiency and reliability.
Key Skills and Experience
Essential:
• Proven experience in BMS project management.
• Strong knowledge of Trend, Distech, and/or Tridium systems.
• Excellent leadership and team coordination skills.
• Strong customer liaison skills with experience managing client expectations.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a logical and methodical approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and BMS software tools (Trend System Engineer Tool, IQVision, 963).
Desirable:
• Experience in the construction sector or similar industries.
• CSCS or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of health and safety management and associated documentation.
