BMS Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled professional to join our existing BMS Servicing and Small Works team in the London area. The ideal candidate should ideally be located in the north London area with the expectation to travel into the London on most days but also to cover sites within the home counties area.
The chosen applicant should have excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage a variety of tasks efficiently. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Trend and or Distech BMS systems who is looking to further develop their skills within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
• You will provide customers with both service and maintenance support on their Building Management Systems as well as commissioning duties on BMS projects
• Carry out the servicing and planned maintenance on clients Building Management Systems as well as commissioning duties on small works
• Proficient with Trend IQ2-IQ5 control systems and ideally (but not essential) have an awareness with Tridium and or Distech products
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure all maintenance and onsite tasks are completed to a high standard
• The ability to identify and investigate faults and failures in a logical and methodical manor
• Identify and recommend onsite obsolescence, upgrades and improvements that can be made to the installed system to bring improvements and resilience to sites.
• Participate in the on-call rota to provide support to key contracts as needed
• The ability to handle reactive and remedial calls across your designated area
Key Skills and Experience
Essential:
• Customer Liaison: Experience in effectively communicating with customers and other external stakeholders.
• Organisation: Exceptionally organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to interact confidently with clients and office stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
• Technology Proficiency: Broad knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Trend System Engineer Tool, IQVision and 963.
Desirable:
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the construction sector or similar.
• Hold a CSCS or equivalent card
• Health and Safety: Understanding of health and safety management processes and relevant documentation.
